#MAYSGIVEBACK: Metro Trans Umbrella Group

In celebration of Pride, a portion of our sales this month are going to the Metro Trans Umbrella Group - A St. Louis organization that aims to bring together the Trans community in the Metro St. Louis area. There are many avenues to support when it comes to Trans issues, and the MTUG focuses on delegating those causes. 

The Metro Trans Umbrella Group’s vision is to unite the Trans community and promote visibility of Trans folks through mostly education and community. They do this through Trans 101 training, Q+A panels, community meet-ups, Town Hall meetings, volunteer events, and more. Community, visibility, change, and education are the main values of MTUG. 

This organization supports all folks who fall under the “umbrella” term of Trans such as (but is not limited to): Intersex, Genderqueer, Transexuals (FtM, MtF), Androgynous, Agender, Drag, and Questioning.
